Pre-Open-Source License: Nicaraguan Prototype

This prototype was built during a 3-month visit to a rural town in northern Nicaragua. The prototype features the basic electronic circuit, a bamboo enclosure, the first version of the screw switch, and an end cap made of rubber (scraps from a shoe-repair store). All the materials for the enclosure were found in-country except for the screw and nut, but these were understood to be easily found in a local hardware store. The components for the electronic circuit were brought to Nicaragua. A more detailed story of the Nicaraguan headlamp is coming soon.
